The Walker Evans Certified Kesterke Shock is the result of Caleb Kesterke teaming up with Polaris to develop a shock calibrated for how riders and sleds have actually progressed.

What Sets Them Apart
The Kesterke Shock's baseline calibration is built for the modern off-trail, backcountry riding style: hop-overs, bow ties, side-hilling through trees, pushing into gnarly zones, and riding pillows. That means you use the majority of the shock's stroke in normal winter conditions, not just when you're pushing to the limit.

"You know for me I have a very extensive racing background, competetive background at X-Games, and being able to really dial the shock in for what I need in that moment, I think this is really going to nail that. I was able to generate track speed and ski lift at the same time which you know out in big mountain terrain is pretty crucial. "I have ran other shocks that had good valving and they wouldn't bottom out, but they were too progressive on the bottom part of the shock stroke, so i had to ride the sled really hard to even get the shock to work properly. "The adjustability is crazy. We went from full on mountain riding, I was testing that setup for multiple weeks, to full on race spec that got me my best results that I've ever had in that race.
